Many of the most tragic stories can be found in a career that is dazzling. Lolo is in her current place of prominence after years of hard work and patience. Jones is a child born into a family of no mothers with five children suffering from poverty and hardships as a youngster, experienced an extremely challenging childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and stayed for a while in the basement of her church. Jones had to be moved into a new school each year up until her senior year as a result of her nomadic life. Jones left her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to pursue her track interest. She lived at four different houses during her years of high school, so she could complete her studies at one time. Jones was a part of the Orchestra of Iowa as well the Gatorade Track and Field Award. She also won this prize in high the school. As she began college, Jones proved to be one of the best hurdlers.
